WinCompanion up and running!
We now have the WinCompanion up and running. New Sign Up Information: You can sign up now by sending an e-mail to Ron@sscloft.com and providing your e-mail address. We will send back and e-mail with UserID and Password.
Starting next week you will be able to go to E-Loft, a new website, and watch the birds clock live on the Internet. We will let you know more about this when it is ready to go live.
11/19/2008 - There has been a misunderstanding about how far the birds have been trained out due to the testing of the new programs. Some of the distances were not accurate due to ongoing program testing and that was noted on the web site. However not everybody understood these were part of testing of the program and the mileage was not accurate. The information as of today is accurate and the training will continue to be posted on WinCompanion (unless otherwise noted).
If you know anybody in the race who does not have access to a computer, please have them get in touch with us and we will make arrangements to notify them of results of their birds to them.
11/18/2008 - The birds are now out to 25 miles and doing well. They are coming home as a group. 10/28/2008 - Birds are out to about 5 miles and doing well. They are coming home in good time. When we get the bugs worked out of the new program, we will begin loading accurate 20 mile data. We are also working on a separate program where you will be able to see the birds clock live on the Internet. We are working hard on this and hope that it will be implemented in the nex week or two.

10/20/08 - We are connecting up to a database today to give you more current information on your birds. We will be able to post the training tosses and races directly from the clock. You will be able to logon and check the progress of your birds.
Silver State Challenge 2009 will consist of three races flown a distance of about 150, 200 miles, and 300 miles.
The race dates will be:

January 3, 2009 for 100 Mile Training Toss (All birds returning from this toss will need to have ALL fees paid by January 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. PST.

January 10, 2009 for 150 Mile-Race

January 17, 2009 for the 200 Mile-Race

January 24, 2009 for 300 Mile-Race.
The 300 mile-race activities will be held January 23 - 24, 2009.
Entry fee - $500 (1 bird, 2 backups)
Perch Fee - $100 per bird for first 2 birds or $250 for 3 birds.
Perch fee and Entry Fee must accompany birds when shipped.
Limited to 600 entries or a total of 1,800 birds.
